steve richmond

After graduating with a degree in Political Science and History from Western Maryland College, Steve Richmond, believed his future would be spent as an attorney. Once he entered University of Baltimore Law School during the fall of 1981, he realized it was not his calling. At that time, he chose to leave law school behind and work with his ailing grandfather in his family business.

Five years later, he and his grandfather opened their own business on York Road. Through many evolutions in the business, it’s been his passion ever since. Steve enjoys the daily interaction with the design staff, seamstresses and installation team. He feels that each day brings the opportunity to meet new people and he finds great pride in knowing that his team is dedicated to serving the clients needs.

His greatest joy in life is being a father to four children and grandfather to four – soon to be five – grandchildren. He looks forward to spending as much time as possible with them here at home and away at the beach.
