Hunter Douglas Lifetime Limited Warranty Summary
The Hunter Douglas Lifetime Guarantee is designed to ensure a thoroughly satisfying experience with your window fashion products. We provide a guarantee on our installations for the first two years. After that, we will be happy to offer a service call to address any issues. Our service calls start at $125.00 per trip.
We will assist with repairs for Hunter Douglas products not originally purchased from us but we strongly suggest bringing the products into our showroom for assistance. Depending on the repairs needed as well as the age of the product and the lifting system, some repairs may be able to be completed in our workroom (5-10) business days starting at $85.00. Products that cannot be repaired here in our workroom will be sent back to Hunter Douglas (3-4 weeks) with a minimum handling charge of $50.00 plus shipping and any fees incurred by Hunter Douglas.
What is Covered
Lifetime Limited Warranty
Hunter Douglas window fashion products are covered for defects in materials, workmanship, or failure to operate for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product.
- This coverage includes all internal mechanisms, components and brackets, and fabric delamination.
- Repairs and/or replacements will be made with like or similar parts or products.
Time-Limited Coverage
- Operational Cords: A full 7 years from the date of purchase.
- Hunter Douglas Motorization Components: 5 years from the date of purchase.
What is Not Covered
The following conditions and costs are not covered by the Lifetime Limited Warranty:
- Any conditions caused by normal wear and tear.
- Abuse, accidents, misuse, or alterations to the product.
- Exposure to the elements (sun damage, wind, water/moisture) and discoloration or fading over time.
- Failure to follow instructions regarding measurement, proper installation, cleaning, or maintenance.
- Shipping charges, cost of removal and reinstallation.
